Contact the developer
For iOS app help, feedback, or feature requests, email this monitored inbox:
Include your app version (in Settings → About), iOS version, what you expected, what happened, and the steps to reproduce it. For a schedule or menu issue, include the date and period or menu station.
Please do not send your student ID screenshot, student number, barcode, password, or other sensitive student information. Redact these details from any screenshots you share.
Import a student ID
- Open Infinite Campus and take a screenshot of your own Student Profile page, including your student details and the entire barcode near the bottom.
- Open Stevenson Space, go to ID, and tap Choose Screenshot.
- Select the screenshot in Apple’s photo picker. Review the extracted card, then tap Save.
- To scan your saved ID, tap the card or Show for Scanning. You can also run the Show Student ID shortcut from Siri or the Shortcuts app.
Only import your own ID. The screenshot is processed on your device; you do not enter your Infinite Campus credentials in Stevenson Space. ID import is optional, and schedules and menus work without it.
The screenshot could not be read
Take a fresh, clear screenshot of the whole Student Profile page. Keep the barcode and printed student number fully visible, and avoid cropping or editing the image. Tap Try Another Screenshot or Choose a Different Screenshot to retry. If the image is in iCloud Photos, connect to the internet so Apple can download it.
If the barcode and printed number do not match, capture a fresh screenshot from your current profile. The app reads ID details from the image; they cannot be typed in manually.
My name or photo is missing, or my ID is out of date
Capture the whole Student Profile page so the name and photo are included. A missing photo produces a silhouette. To import a new image, open ID, tap ID options (the ••• button at the top right), and choose Replace Screenshot, then review and save the new card.
The barcode will not scan
Tap Show for Scanning. The app shows the barcode full screen at full brightness; hold the screen flat under the scanner. If your school ID has changed, use Replace Screenshot to import a fresh image. If it still fails, email the developer with the scanner location and what happened, without sending your barcode or student number.
Manage notifications
- In the app’s Settings, turn on End-of-period heads-up, Morning alert on special days, or both.
- Allow notifications when iOS asks. If you previously declined, the reminder switches back off and a notice appears under Notifications. Open iPhone Settings → Notifications → SHS Space, turn on Allow Notifications, then return to the app and turn on the reminders you want.
- Choose your end-of-period lead time (0–15 minutes) and the time for the morning alert. A lead time of zero alerts at the bell.
Morning alerts are for special schedule days. Reminders use the school’s Central Time schedule and are scheduled locally on your device.
A reminder did not arrive
Check both the app’s reminder toggles and iOS notification permission. Focus modes, notification delivery settings, or Scheduled Summary may silence or delay an alert.
iOS limits how many reminders an app can schedule ahead of time, so the app schedules upcoming reminders whenever you open it. Open the app regularly, especially after changing your schedule or notification settings. If you receive Refresh your class notifications, open the app to keep receiving class reminders.
For iOS delivery controls, see Apple’s notification settings guide. To stop reminders, turn them off in the app or revoke notification permission in iOS Settings.
Update schedules & lunch menus
The app checks for public schedule-date and lunch-menu updates when it opens or returns to the foreground, normally at most once an hour. Connect to the internet and reopen the app to let it check. Previously saved content stays available when a download fails.
After five days without a successful update check, Home shows a Schedule updates reminder, or Lunch shows a Lunch menu updates reminder. Tap Check for Updates in the reminder to check right away. The button appears only with these reminders.
Bell times and supported school-year boundaries ship with the app. Keep the app updated through the App Store (or TestFlight for a beta) to receive changes to those.
The school day or my class details look wrong
Check which date is selected on Home. In Settings → My Schedule, review your class names, rooms, lunch, and advisory assignments. A manual day override takes priority over downloaded schedule dates; review Schedule Override in Settings and delete an override if it is no longer needed. If Home shows Rotation unverified — tap to fix, tap it to choose the correct schedule for that day.
To set a day manually, use Settings → Set a Day’s Schedule. If the published schedule still appears incorrect, email the date, expected schedule, and app version. Follow the school’s announcements for last-minute changes.
The lunch menu is missing or seems outdated
Check the selected date in Lunch, then reconnect and reopen the app. Use Check for Updates if the reminder is visible. Menu downloads keep the last successful copy if any station fails to update. A date outside the app’s supported menu range may have no menu; check for an app update and contact the developer if needed.
Remove an ID & manage privacy
Open ID, tap ID options (the ••• button), and choose Remove ID to remove saved ID details and the cropped photo from the app. If removal fails, unlock your device and try again. Hide ID Photo only changes visibility; it does not delete the photo.
Remove ID does not delete your original screenshot in Photos or copies in existing device backups. Remove your ID before deleting the app; deleting or offloading the app is not a substitute for Remove ID.
